Q1Where is the shop, and what's the nearest station?
Hana Bldg 1F, 1-4-1 Hatagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo — about a 3-minute walk from the south exit of Hatagaya Station on the Keio New Line, along the Koshu-kaido.
Q2What are the opening hours and closed days?
Open 11:30–20:00, closed Wednesdays. Sources differ on the closing time (20:00 vs 20:30), so please call ahead (03-6276-6658) if you plan to arrive late.
Q3What's the signature dish?
The Classic Cheese Steak, and the Garlic Cheese Steak that local press names as the most popular. Thin beef and melting cheese off the griddle, served cut in half.
Q4Do you have pulled pork and BBQ?
Yes. The pulled pork is pork shoulder smoked low and slow for over 10 hours; the brisket is smoked for about 12. Both come as sandwiches or sold by 100g.
Q5Can I make a reservation?
Per the Tabelog listing, reservations are accepted (by phone or Tabelog), with 10 seats. Parties of 9 or more should call ahead (03-6276-6658). Please confirm the current policy with the shop.
Q6Do you offer takeout or delivery?
Takeout is available, and delivery can be ordered through UberEats (availability changes by time of day).
Q7How can I pay?
Public sources disagree on accepted payment methods, so please confirm what's accepted (cash, card, and so on) at the shop when you visit.
Q8What's the story behind the shop?
The founder, Shinichi Hashimoto, is a former American-football player who opened the shop in 2018 so that the Philadelphia cheesesteak he'd met in the United States could be had in Japan. It's been described as "the real thing that keeps Americans coming back."
